Mary Anne Graney Memorial Scholarship

Congratulations Scholarship Recipients!
The winners of the 2016 Mary Anne Graney Memorial Scholarship are Alison Reiner (Pembroke), Michelle Martinucci (Notre Dame) and Hunter Marzolf (Alexander).  The Scholarships were awarded during the Golden Gala Art and Film Festival on March 12.  Shown with the trio is Ted Graney, son of the late Mary Anne Graney.  Alison is planning to study elementary special education; Michelle is going to school for occupational therapy and Hunter is going to pursue a career in psychology.  Congratulation Alison, Michelle and Hunter!

The Mary Anne Graney Memorial Scholarship is an annual scholarship opportunity for area high school seniors interested in a career working with individuals with disabilities. The scholarship is named in honor of Mary Anne Graney, a long time friend and disability advocate. Residents of Genesee and Orleans Counties that are high school students in their senior year may apply. Children of agency staff are also eligible to apply.  The Mary Anne Graney Memorial Scholarship is a living memorial, honoring Mary Anne’s commitment to enriching the lives of people with disabilities.
